Volunteers
You, the volunteers, are in integral part of the Cave Creek Trail Run. You'll help direct traffic, set up the course, run the water stop, hand out finisher medallions and cheer on the athletes. Below are the various positions available for volunteering. Please select one or more, if you are available, and submit it to us. As a small token of our appreciation, every volunteer will receive a t-shirt, pizza on the set-up day or coffee and bagels on the race day complements of The Bad Donkey.

Positions Available
Friday, April 6th
Packet Pick-Up at Runner's Den in Phoenix: 4 people needed total. You will be checking in the participants and handing out their packets. There are 2 shifts, 10am - 2pm and then 2pm - 6pm. Please specify which shift you'd prefer.
Course Set-Up: 5 people needed. Arrive 3pm. We'll meet at a TBD area to discuss setting up the course. You will be working in partners walking a section of the course, pound rebar in the ground and assemble the signs. Please be in decent physical shape and bring a sledge hammer, gloves and a backpack if you have one.
Saturday, April 7th, Race Day
Make Fry Bread at Indian Village: 4 people needed. Arrive at 5:45am. You'll be working with Taco Bart making Fry Bread in the fastest hour of your life... And hopefully one of you can bring the Fry Bread to the race. :-)
Parking Control: 4 people needed. Arrive 5:45am. You will be guiding the participants to parking spots.
Race Day Packet Pickup: 5 people needed. Arrive 5:45am. You'll be checking in the participants and handing out their packets.
Water Stop: 4 people needed. Arrive 6:30am. You'll be filling and handing out water to the participants as they pass by.
Course Monitor: 5 people needed. Arrive 6:30am. You'll be out on the course guiding the participants. You will need to be able to walk to your position on a dirt trail.
Timing: 6 people needed. Arrive 6:45am. You'll be assisting our official timer.
Finish Line Medallion: 3 people needed. Arrive 6:45am. You'll be putting the "medallion" over the finishers heads.
Food Prep and Distribution: 4 people needed. Arrive 6:45am. You'll be preparing the food, such as cutting the oranges and bananas and keep food supplies stocked.
Route Sweep: 3 people needed. Arrive 6:45am. You will follow behind the last person of the distance you choose, 2k, 5k or 10k. Please specify the distance when you submit your form.
Course Clean-Up: 4 people needed. Arrive 6:45am. You will need to be in decent physical shape as you will go out on to the course once the race is done and get the signs off the course. You will be supplied a backpack to put the signs into. You will be working in teams of 2 so if you have a buddy that you'd like to work with, please let me know when you submit this form.
